Hello Everybody: Just wanted to keep you updated on what's going on. I'm planning a concert to be held in Jones County before the end of this year. I'm singing in various places in and around the metro Atlanta area: Cafe 290 on Thursdays @ 8pm, The Apache on Wednesdays @ 10pm, and various festivals and music events. I recently purchased the lastest cd projects of Mary, Mary and Anthony Hamilton. I HIGHLY recommend both! Contratulations to Tocarro, my sister who attends Albany State University. Wow! What a great time we had at this year's Cherry Blossom Festival. Thanks to all of my former students and coworkers at Jones County for coming out. To all of my family and friends thank you. Thanks Ms. Caines for traveling from Atlanta to attend the performance. The stage and crowd was fantastic. We had so much fun! Jonathan, my producer, rapped on the song "My Heaven." The crowd came up in front and danced like crazy on the song "Dance!" It was a little chilly outside, but the atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing. Please pray for Ms. Lewis and her family. She came to both performances on Saturday. Special thanks to Brandi Walker for taking pictures. Thanks to Lynn Gray for taking pictures and helping to sell the cds. I look forward to the next performance. Until then, love one another!!!!!

Come out to Cafe 290 on Thursdays at 8pm to Tammy Allen Singer's Night Out. Tammy is an exceptional jazz vocalist with an incredible band. I'll be singing this Thursday night. The cost is $7.00, but it's definitely worth it. Hope to see you there. Remember, March 25th I'll be singing at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon, Georgia from 5-6pm.

Hello everyone! Wanted to let you know how things went last Sunday at Cafe 290. When I walked into the club, I was a little aprehensive because I heard nor saw a band. I was thinking that maybe it was cancelled or something. I checked with the hostess at the door and she assured me this was the place, but the band was on break. Wheww! I found a table and stool in which to sit. I ordered a drink, settled in and observed. The restaurant/bar was nice, but not as artsy or quaint as some places I've sung at in the past here in Atlanta.
The band came back and started playing. They were incredible of course! The man in charge was Al Harris (Al plays a sax like nobody's business!). I met a photographer who was there taking pictures of couples and performers. Al called me up to sing. I was nervous, but ready. Al Smith was on keys. I told Al and the other musicians what I wanted to sing, "What's Going On." (Marvin Gaye) The band began to play, and I began to sing...Mother, mother there's too many of you crying.......It was awesome. I plan to sing there again soon. Hello to everybody and Happy New Year! The past few weeks have been very busy for me. Concert, birthday, holidays, and now back to work. I wanted to let you know that my cd "Exposed" will be in stores in Feb. I will also be appearing on this year's Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon, Georgia. The festival takes place in March. Hope everyone had a great Christmas! I was a little disappointed when the Falcons lost, but there's always next year. Hello to a good friend of mine: Fletcher Johnson. Fletcher has a book entitled "Memories of a Cherry Blossom Tree." It can be purchased on most online bookstores as well as local bookstores. For those of you who may want to hear Jonathan on drums (Jonathan is the producer of most of my songs I've recorded, but he's a musician as well), we'll be at the Apache Cafe tonight in Atlanta. I'll be in concert on December 16th at the Warner Robins CME church off of Russell Parkway in Warner Robins, Georgia. The concert will include jazz, inspiration, and holiday music.
